Who are Torus Accounting?
Torus Accounting are Chartered Accountants based in Skipton providing advice and support to clients to help them understand their accounts and tax position and ensuring all day-today compliance is taken care of.

The person behind the Torus Accounting. I am a chartered accountant having worked in accountancy practices since 2005, working my way through audit and accounts then specialising in the small business arena, I have built a wealth of knowledge and experience of various industries and working practices.
My passion is working closely with clients to be part of their business successes and being the advisor they feel comfortable picking up the phone to discuss anything with allowing me to be their trusted advisor. I want to deliver a service that clients expect and give each of them the time and care that is deserved. Each client is important and at a different stage of the business cycle but each business, with the right advice, has the ability to grow and become larger. Every business was a new business in the beginning.

Carol Dovener
Having close to 40 years accountancy experience working in accounting practice and in finance manager roles within the charityand construction sectors, my experience includes preparing Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax returns, VAT returns, Self-Assessment tax returns and processing payroll for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies across a range of sectors including, but not limited to, construction, manufacturing, retail, professional services, healthcare and the voluntary sector.
I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and possess a good working knowledge of other accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and Dext.
I am passionate about helping clients, in particular small businesses with accounting and bookkeeping complexities, I enjoy working on these projects to give our clients a better understanding of their accounts and tax position.
